Forza Motorsport 7: Racing game will soon disappear forever

Almost four years after the launch of Forza Motorsport 7, the racing game of Turn 10 will always disappear from the Microsoft Store for PC and Xbox. That's what the creators have been announced in the blog. Means: Already from 15 September 2021, the main game and all DLC can no longer be acquired digitally. All racers who own the title can continue to download and play Forza Motorsport 7 as usual. The multiplayer remains active.

For subscribers of the Xbox Game Pass, the racing game is no longer available. Have you purchased a DLC of the title in the past - about your membership - for Forza Motorsport 7, you will soon receive a token over the Xbox Message Center from Microsoft, with which you can continue to use the game. At the latest on August 2, 2021, the token should have arrived at you. If this is not the case, customers can also contact Microsoft Support. The responsible persons offer Forza Motorsport 7 at the moment with a high discount. Until shutdown, the racing game for 9.99 euros is available. The Deluxe Edition costs 12.49 euros - the Ultimate Edition is € 19.99.

Although the makers do not call a reason for the shutdown, it should probably have something to do with the licenses - as it was more often the case with other games. A successor for Xbox Series X / S and PC is already in development. There is not a release yet. On November 9, 2021, Forza Horizon 5 first appears another part of the spin-off series. This time the racers are allowed to drive through the virtual Mexico.
